Copy after a clock by Erhard Liechti, 20th c.
Pierced movement with pillar design, the corner pillars set at an angle. Lateral bands with a monogram EL and dated 1584. Movement and striking mechanism are arranged one behind the other. The movement, with verge escapement. Striking mechanism with hour strike on bell. The bell cage is painted in red and green with gilt flowers. Painted dial, the top with a seated Justitia and the bottom with a sleeping putto with coat of arms cartouche. Two iron weights and wooden console.
