CANTON OF BERNE.- attributed to Gabriel Ludwig Lory (1763-1840). The Reichenbach Falls near Meiringen. Pencil with watercolour, 55.5 x 42.5 cm. Verso old inscription twice in pencil: G.Lory père. Chute du Reichenbach. Framed. - Very pleasing, especially fine and richly detailed view of the famous falls. - A few minor paper losses on the outer edges. Old mount on wove paper across entire surface. Central fold smoothed out. Overall good condition.

Chute du Reichenbach. Gerahmt. - Sehr schöne, besonders fein und detaillreich ausgeführte Ansicht der berühmten Wasserfälle. - Mit wenigen winzigen Papierverlusten an den Aussenkanten. Ganzflächig mit Bütten alt hinterlegt. Geglättete horizontale Mittelfalte. Insgesamt gut erhalten.
