SMALL "GROTTO" FURNITURE ENSEMBLE, Italy, late 19th century. Richly carved, polychrome painted, and parcel gilt and silver-plated wood. "Causeuse" 125x50x44x70 cm. Gueridon 48x48x83 cm. Hanging console 43x27x80 cm. Requires some restoration. Provenance: - Palazzo Serristori, Florence. -West Swiss castle collection.
Italien, Ende 19. Jh.
Bestehend aus 1 sog. "Causeuse", 1 Guéridon und 1 Hängekonsole. Holz reich beschnitzt und polychrom gefasst sowie teils vergoldet bzw. versilbert. Die Causeuse mit 2 Muschelsitzen auf markant geschweiften Beinen und S-förmiger Rückenlehne auf geschweiften Stützen. 125x50x44x70 cm. Das Guéridon mit muschelförmigem Blatt auf geschweifter Drachenstütze mit markantem Dreifuss. 48x48x83 cm. Die Hängekonsole mit drachenförmiger Wandplatte und muschelförmigem Blatt. 43x27x80 cm. Teils zu restaurieren.
