A PAIR OF VASES IN GILT BRONZE MOUNTS
The porcelain from Japan with an Imari decoration, 18th century. The bronze mounts in the style of Louis XVI, France, end of the 19th century.
Baluster-shaped vases on a square plinth with beveled corners and decorative leaf friezes. The shoulders of the vases feature ram heads and drapery.
47 × 25 × 21 cm.
Crack in the bottom. Gilding in part rubbed. One vase repaired in the plinth area. Bronze mount repaired and incomplete.
