Switzerland, ca. 1940. The case and movement signed E. Mathey-Tissot & Cie.
Silver, in part gilt, and enameled in green, blue, black, and gold. Inside marked 925 sterling. On a malachite base. The dial painted with a Chinese landscape and a man being carried on a palanquin. Movement with balance wheel and minute repeater on gong. Repetition upon pressing a button. With original brown leather case.
