Japan, early 19th c. Height 6.5 cm.
Decorated with large maple tree on hilly ground in gold takamakie and applied raden und pewter. Signed Yôyûsai saku. Trick netsuke of a Sanbaso dancer with movable tongue carved from wood, ivory and horn. Ivory bead ojime.
