China, export for Thailand, late 18th/early 19th century. D 17.5 cm.
Decorated on the exterior with alternating depictions of Thepanom and Norasingh among flames on a black ground. Glazed green on the inside, a flower medallion in the well. Copper rim.
Provenance: Swiss private collection, acquired between 1958 and 1970 in Southeast Asia. By inheritance to the current owner.
