THREE CHOCOLATE CUPS AND SAUCERS WITH “BUTTERFLY” DECORATION

Meissen, mid-18th century. From the Royal Court Confectionery in Dresden.
Painted in the East Asian style. The cups with a double-C handle, the rims with a brown rim. Underglaze blue sword marks and press numbers on all the saucers, blue sword marks on the unglazed undersides of the cups, K.H.C. in purple and manganese on all of the items, except one saucer.
H 6.5 cm. Ø 13 cm and 13.4 cm.
