Louis XVI, Switzerland ca. 1800.
Wooden case carved with laurel leaves, a bow and a torch, and painted gray and parcel-gilt. White enamel dial with the hours in Roman numerals. Neuchatel movement with verge escapement and striking mechanism on two bells. Losses to the paintwork. Dial with chip. Painted, somewhat retouched. Movement requires servicing.
H 63 cm.
