Gothic, Switzerland, early 16th century. Circle of Hans Geiler of Fribourg.
Limewood carved in relief, formerly painted. Multifigural composition of the Israelites gathering the manna, flanked by Moses and Aaron. Minimal remnants of paint; cracks and wormage. Patched. Supplements, bonded verso with linen. Retouched. Figure of God the Father in the cloud base, missing.
