Japan, 19th c. Length 34 cm.
Iron ends, bamboo ribs and stiff paper, bearing the mon (family crest) of the Asano clan, the two crossed hawk-feathers in red, black and gold. Signs of age and usage.
Provenance: Old private collection from Southern Germany.
