Basel, 1st third of the 20th century Maker's mark Ulrich II Sauter.
Parcel-gilt. Cuppa and foot strongly bulged. Engraved with stylized plant decoration and vines. Shaft and lid finial in the shape of a pomegranate. Engraved dedication on the foot: “In dankbarer Erinnerung an Dr. Ernst A. Koechlin.”
