Baroque, Germany, 18th century and later.
Walnut, burlwood and rosewood inlaid and fire-shaded with broad curved fillets, coats of arms and landscapes with figures. Tall, curved and retracted body on a straight frame and later ball and claw feet. Assorted movement with date and seconds, the brass dial signed Dan. LeCount London. Silver-plated chapter ring with engraved Roman hours. Movement with anchor escapement and hour strike on bell. Two iron weights.
