BEAKER AND SAUCER WITH MERCANTILE-SHIPPING SCENES
Meissen, ca. 1730–35.
Beaker with handle. Painted with gold cartouches with brown luster and iron-red scrollwork, the inside of the cartouches featuring harbor scenes. Decorated with flowering branches in-between the cartouches and on the bottom of the saucer. Different sword marks in underglaze blue, gold number 1.
H 7.5 cm, Ø 13 cm.
