Condition:
Oil on lined canvas. Paint surface shows a degree of wear in places, with a network of craquelure. Bulges and a stronger craquelé are visible in the right half of the painting. Colour abrasions along the edges.
Under UV: some retouching and retouched craquelure visible on the figures, the crate and in the sky. Varnish fluoresces irregularly greenish.
