A POLYCHROME-OVERLAY JADE VASE AND COVER.

China, 19th/20th c. Height (without base) 15 cm, height (with base) 18 cm.
Grayish jade with polychrome overlays. Matching pedestal of dark green stone.


Provenance: Swiss private collection, acquired ca. 1920 in Shanghai.
- Some small notches and chips, mostly at the mouth of vase
- Several inlays lost
