PONTIUS, PAULUS (1603 Antwerp 1658). The king drinking. Engraving after Jacob Jordaens. 39.5 x 58 cm. Hollstein 47 III ( of III, with the number 5 lower right). Framed. – Strong, even impression. With a fine margin around the plate edge on three sides, the lower margin cut just inside the plate edge. Provenance: From the collection of Conrad Baumann zu Tischendorf (2nd half of the 19th century).

Der König trinkt. Kupferstich nach Jacob Jordaens. 39,5 x 58 cm. Hollstein 47 III ( von III, mit der Nummer 5 unten rechts). Gerahmt. - Kräftiger, gleichmässiger Druck. Dreiseitig mit feinem Rändchen um die Plattenkante, der unteren Rand knapp innerhalb dieser beschnitten. - Provenienz: Aus der Sammlung Conrad Baumann zu Tischendorf (2.H.19. Jh.).
