PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, probably CARTIER, London, ca. 1920.

Clasp platinum 950 and white gold 750, 52g.
A strand of 31 graduated round, roundish and oval white to slightly cream-coloured saltwater natural pearls of ca. 7.8 - 11.5 mm Ø, spaced by faceted diamond-rondelles of ca. 5.3 - 7.2 mm Ø. The clasp set with 1 bouton-shaped dark grey saltwater natural pearl of ca. 14.2 mm Ø, 2 old pear-shaped diamonds weighing ca. 1.60 ct, 4 old marquise-cut diamonds totalling 0.80 ct and 10 old square-cut diamonds totalling ca. 1.80 ct. Engraved Cartier London. L ca. 41 cm.
