Golay, twenty-dollar coin watch. "Liberty 1925" coin with integrated, hidden watch. Gold dial, signed GOLAY. Ultra-flat hand-wound movement No. 5435 with 17 rubies. D ca. 35 mm.
It is a horological and goldsmithing masterpiece to fit a watch, with its own case and glass, into a coin. By pressing a hidden pusher in the coin rim, the front of the coin opens up to reveal the dial. The entire watch can then be folded out of the case.
