IMPORTANT CONSOLE "AUX CARTOUCHES",
Louis XIV/French Regency, probably after designs by P. LE PAUTRE (Pierre Le Pautre, "Dessinateur du Roi", 1652 Paris 1716), from a Parisian master workshop, ca. 1700/20.
Pierced wood, exquisitely carved with cartouches, flowers, leaves, and decorative frieze, and gilt. Rectangular "Campan" marble top. Old inventory No. 13. Some losses.
