BUREAU CABINET,
Baroque, Northern Italy, probably Verona ca. 1740.
Walnut, burlwood, and domestic fruitwood, in veneer and inlaid with reserves and fillets. Front with hinged writing surface over 4 drawers. Inner compartment with 6 drawers arranged in 2 rows. Large, hinged compartment on top. Bronze mounts and knobs. Requires some restoration.
