BERTHOUD GOLD AND ENAMEL POCKET WATCH WITH REPEATER, ca. 1780. Yellow gold 750. Solid case, blue-enamelled on an engine-turned ground, the lunette set with diamonds. In the centre, an oval medallion depicting 3 angels, framed with diamonds. White enamelled dial with black, Arabic numerals and blue-Breguet hands (damaged), key winder at 2h. Verge escapement with 1/4 repeater operated by pendant, signed: Berthoud a Paris. D 55 mm.

Massives Gehäuse mit blauem Email auf guillochiertem Grund eingerahmt von Diamantlunette. Im Zentrum ovales Medaillon 3 Engel darstellend, eingerahmt von Diamantlunette. Weisses Emailzifferblatt mit schwarzen, arabischen Zahlen und gebläuten Breguetzeigern (beschädigt), Schlüsselaufzug bei 2h. Spindelwerk mit 1/4 Repetition über Pendant, signiert: Berthoud a Paris. D 55 mm.
