RARE NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND BROOCH, ca. 1880.
Silver over pink gold.
Fancy, oval brooch, the centre set with 1 slightly button-shaped natural pearl of 15.6 x 15.10 mm, and set throughout with 48 old European cut diamonds weighing ca. 7.50 ct. The removable lower part consisting of 1 drop-shaped, drilled pearl of 18 x 12.4 mm, 1 button-shaped pearl of 13 x 12.7 mm, 2 old European cut diamonds and 8 rose-cut diamonds, and 2 lateral pendants, each with 1 drop-shaped, baroque pearl of 23 x 11 and 24 x 12 mm, 2 old European cut diamonds and 36 rose-cut diamonds. L ca. 8.4 cm.
