Er verweist darin auf die Nähe zu dem Gemälde "Dash", für welches das Blatt wohl eine Vorstudie ist (siehe Katalog Musée d'art et d'histoire, Genève & Tate Gallery London, Jacques-Laurent Agasse, 1988/89, Kat.-Nr. 35).
