A COPPER STANDING PADMAPANI WITH REMAINS OF GILDING. Nepal, 11th c. Height 15.5 cm.

Kupferlegierung mit Resten von Vergoldung. In leichter Tribhanga auf einem runden Lotossockel stehender Avalokiteshvara Padmapani mit dem charakteristischen Lotos in der Hand. Er ist reich geschmückt und trägt eine dreiblättrige Krone. Ausgewogene Kleinfigur mit schöner Patina.
