Attractive, elegant necklace in the style of 1910, of 1 fine, oval Ceylon sapphire of 11.61 ct, untreated, within a border of 40 brilliant-cut diamonds and mounted below a small old european cut diamond and 1 larger diamond, cushion shape, of ca. 1.20 ct and a diamond-set eyelet. Total weight of the small diamonds ca. 1.50 ct. On a fine anchor chain, L ca. 40 cm. With certificate of the British Gemmological Institute, November 2008.
