PAIR OF CLOISONNE PLATES with fine decorations in blue, black and white. Three scholars are expecting a guest in a pavilion surrounded by trees. In the background, two other scholars are seated on a stone slab and holding a discussion. Lotus tendrils on a light-blue background adorn the underside of the plates. China, 19th century. D 17.8 cm. mit feinem Dekor in blau, schwarz und weiss. Drei Gelehrte erwarten einen Gast in einem baumumstandenen Pavillon, im Hintergrund sitzen zwei weitere Literaten auf einer Felsplatte und diskutieren. Die Kehlung ist mit geometrischen Textilmustern bedeckt, die Fahne ebenfalls mit feingliedrigen Mustern. Lotosranken auf hellblauem Grund zieren die Unterseite der Teller. China, 19. Jh. D 17,8 cm.
