ITALY, LATE 18TH CENTURY

Series of five landscapes with architectural capricci and figures.
Gouache on laid paper. The framing lines in pen and black ink.
One picture inscribed and dated on the back of the frame: F. Cioni anno 1786 fecit Firence.
From 24 x 36 cm to 25 × 40 cm. Each framed as counterparts in identical frames.


Scattered areas of minor rubbing, somewhat browned and slaght spotting in places. Heavier browning and partly foxed on the reverse. The paper somewhat wavy and with individual wormholes predominantly in the margins. Overall still in good condition with fresh colours.
