Collotypes. Vintages. Each approx. 20 × 26.5 cm; album 32.5 × 40.5 cm. [1] title leaf, [12] cardboard supports. Original linen album with gold-stamped cover title and some blind embossing.
Rare, elaborately designed album of significant documentary value. Shown are the Klosterberg Bridge, the bank between Barfüsserplatz and Rudengasse, the Stadthausgassbrucke, and others. - The plates as collotypes each fix mounted on blue cardboard and provided with a gold framing and gold-embossed text. - The prints occasionally slightly scratched, the cardboard supports browned in the margins; The album somewhat spotted, the front cover slightly warped, corners slightly rubbed and bumped. Overall in very good condition.
