The authenticity of the work was confirmed by Prof. Alfred Weidinger on the basis of a photo. It will be included in vol. III of the upcoming catalogue raisonné.

- Dr. Wilhelm Wartmann (1909-1949 Director Kunsthaus Zurich, who received the work from the artist).
- Private collection, Zurich (as a gift from Dr. Wartmann).
- Private collection, Zurich (by descent to the present owner).
