CHEST OF DRAWERS,

Louis XV, stamped M. CRIAERD (Mathieu Criaerd, maître 1738), Paris ca. 1745/55.
Tulipwood, purpleheart and rosewood in veneer. Finely inlaid with diamond pattern and decorative frieze all around. Front with 2 sans-traverse drawers. Exceptionally fine matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Shaped "Griotte Rouge" marble top, repaired.
115x54x88 cm.
