FIGURE OF A BISHOP WITH CHURCH MODEL,probably representation of Saint Wolfgang, late Gothic, Franconia circa 1500. Carved limewood, hollowed verso. The paint removed, right hand missing, the left supplemented. Supplements to the church towers. Wormholes in the plinth area. H 103 cm.
wohl Darstellung des Heiligen Wolfgang, spätgotisch, Franken um 1500.
Linde geschnitzt und verso gehöhlt. Der Heilige leicht im Kontrapost stehend mit Mytra, in der linken Hand trägt er ein Kirchenmodell. Fassung entfernt, rechte Hand fehlt, die linke ergänzt. Ergänzungen an den Kirchtürmen. Im Sockelbereich mit Wurmgängen. H 103 cm.
