Pair of works: Herders with sheep and cows on a meadow/ Cattle at pasture before a farm. 1845.
Oil on panel.
Each signed and dated lower right: Verhoesen. 1845.
Each 28.6 × 36.6 cm.


Provenance:
Swiss private collection.

Condition:
Oil on panel. Paint surface very well-preserved. Dotted superficial stains. Slight colour abrasion along the edges.
Under UV: Retouching along the edges and in the sky. Further smaller retouching in the landscape and in the foreground. Varnish appears in fluorescent green.
Overall condition very good.
