Mit gedrucktem Briefkopf 2340 S Street N W in Washington. An Charles Stucki in New York, dem er für einen Brief dankt: "It breathes a spirit of patriotism and elevated principle which is most heartening and worthy of the best traditions of the United States [...]. I do indeed admire Switzerland and wish for her in all things the highest and noblest kind of prosperity and success."
