PAIR OF MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES, from the "Animali Fantastici" series. The series began in the early 1970s; the items on offer stem from the early 1990s. Unique items.
Ceramics, with an off-white glaze.
Bottom, signed 'Gambone Italy'.
L 30 and 37 cm, respectively.

We would like to thank Mrs. Nahomi Kusaba, wife of the artist, and Mr. Bruno Gambone, who have confirmed, in writing, the authenticity and the dating of the objects, on the basis of photographs (19 October 2020).
