MINIATURE CABINET WITH BISMUTH PAINT DECORATION,

Eastern Switzerland, early 18th century.
Beech, opulently painted with flowers and blossoms, on a black ground. Rectangular body with hinged cover, opening up into a compartment. Front with double-doors, opening up into 5 drawers arranged around a central smaller door, behind, 2 secret drawers behind a slider. Iron lock.
26x17x19 cm.
