MADONNA HEAD

Northern France, probably Beauvais, late 13th/early 14th century.
Limestone carved full round with remains of paintwork. On a later wooden plinth. Label on the back: Ernest Brummer.
H without plinth 22 cm.


Repair to the veil. Nose probably repaired. Chips.
