Enclosed wooden case. The dial painted with flowers. The top has a recess with 3 soldiers dancing and playing music. Brass cog wheels on wooden spindles, lever escapement, and musical mechanism with 23 flutes. Strike on bell. Painting, later.

The rear of the dial indistinctly inscribed: KALTENBACH 1845?, probably a work order.
