MADONNA AND CHILD WITH SAINT ANNE

Late Gothic, Netherlands, Limburg or Lower Rhine, ca. 1520.
Carved walnut, verso flattened. Few traces of paintwork. Saint Anne on a stool, holding a book, Mary holding the Christ Child standing next to her.
H 80 cm.


Wormholes, in part filled. Hands of Saint Anne restored. Christ Child incomplete.
