"HAUSMALER" BEAKER WITH "SCHWARZLOT" PAINTING

Meissen, ca. 1730-40, paintwork probably by Abraham Seuter in Augsburg.
Painted in "schwarzlot" with a mythological scene, in an oval medallion in gold. Depicition of the Wedding of Bacchus. Traces of a signature AS in gold on the underside.
H 11 cm.


Chips on the edge, gilding, minimally rubbed, scratches in the paintwork.
