RARE GILT BRONZE OF A CRUCIFIX,

Romanesque, Swabia, 2nd half of the 12th century.
Cast bronze, engraved and embossed, with strong original fire gilding. The back, open. Losses in the gilding. Black, leather-covered case, the inside lined with blue fabric.
H 19.8 cm, W 17.8 cm.
