Iron etching. On laid paper with watermark; double eagle with crown (Meder 219, circa 1560-1580).
Engraved monogram and date in upper left corner: AD 1518.
22 x 31.9 cm (slightly uneven).
Bartsch 99; Meder 96 probably e-g (of g, with traces of rust around the monogram, on the roof etc.). - Fine, mostly even impression, partly with fine margin around the plate edge, partly cut up to or just inside the plate edge. Margin defects, smaller tears, scattered minor paper losses. Otherwise in good condition.
