Verso inscription in Cyrillic, stating that the painting was transferred from panel to canvas in 1839 in St Petersburg by A. Mitrokhine.
98 x 67 cm.

Provenance:
- Probably collection of the family of Tsar Nikolaus I. (1796-1855), circa 1839.
- Art dealer Eric Coatalem, Paris, 2006.
- European private collection.

Registered at RKD, The Hague as by the hand of Hendrick van Balen the elder.
