PANTALONE FROM A SERIES OF FIGURES FOR THE DUKE OF WEISSENFELS,
Meissen, model by J.J. Kändler and Peter Reinicke for a series of Commedia dell'Arte figures, ca. 1744. Paint later.
Standing in a typical pose and wearing a purple coat, a green vest and orange knickerbockers. Underglaze blue sword mark on the back of the base. H 14.5 cm. Restored.
