AEGIDIUS SADELER (Antwerp 1570 - 1629 Prague).The Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus in a broad landscape: Albertus Durer Almanus Inventor. Engraving, 34.1 x 24.5 cm. Bartsch 75. Very fine, even and silvery impression. Fine small margin around the plate edge and full text border. With flattened folds, visible only on the reverse. Remains of old mount on left margin verso. Overall very good condition. Provenance: collection of G.A.Cardew, London, Lugt 1134.
Die Jungfrau Maria mit dem Jesuskind in weiter Landschaft: Albertus Durer Almanus Inventor. Kupferstich, 34,1 x 24,5 cm. Bartsch 75. - Sehr schöner, gleichmässiger und silbriger Druck. Mit feinem Rändchen um die Plattenkante und dem vollen Schriftrand. Dort minim stockfleckig. Mit geglätteten Falten, nur verso sichtbar. Dort am linken Rand mit Resten alter Montierung. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten. - Provenienz: Sammlung G.A.Cardew, London, Lugt 1134.
