PAINTED "BORNE",Napoleon III in Louis XV style, signed GROHE A PARIS (Guillaume Grohé, 1808-1885), Paris circa 1880. Shaped and finely carved beech, also painted in red and gold. The shaped oval and four-part seat with central arched backrest. Wine red velour covers. L 160 cm. Provenance: Château de Vincy, West Switzerland.

Buche moulüriert und fein beschnitzt mit Blumen, Blättern und Zierfries sowie rot/gold gefasst. Geschweifter, ovaler und viergeteilter Sitz auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften Beinen. Zentrale, bogenförmig abschliessende Rückenlehne mit gepolsterten Armlehnen auf geschweiften -stützen. Bordeauxroter Veloursbezug. L 160 cm.
