In 1872, Patek Philippe delivered its first watch to the company Gondolo & Labouriau in Rio de Janeiro. Until 1927, when the collaboration ended, about a third of Patek Philippe's total production was sold through this Brazilian retailer. The quality of these timepieces is impressive given their elaborate technical requirements.
