ECUELLE WITH A LANDSCAPE PAINTING AND A PURPLE GROUND

Meissen, ca. 1745, the painting later.
Both sides of the tureen and the lid feature Rococo cartouches with riverscapes, palatial buildings and courtly figures. Lid finial designed as a blue blossom. The inside of the lid, gilt and featuring a flower reserve. Underglaze blue sword mark.
