FLINTLOCK PISTOL
Italy, probably Tuscany, ca. 1750.
Walnut stock carved and decorated with scrolled leaves. Iron barrel, octagonal near the lock. Iron lock plate featuring a grotesque figure, and with a curved cock. Trigger guard decorated with a face in profile. Flashpan with a hinged cover. Ramrod with iron top.
Barrel length 28 cm. Caliber 15 mm. Length in total 41.5 cm.
