AN IMPRESSIVE GILT COPPER ALLOY FIGURE OF RATHNASAMBHAVA.
Tibet, 17th c. Height 33 cm.
The double lotus base is cast in two parts and bears the inscription: Hommage to the manifestation of [this] victorious, pure, blissfully departed, perfect buddha's omniscient mind of the ocean of dharma.
Provenance: Swiss private collection purchased with Bachmann Eckenstein, Basel in 2001.
